Vehicle ‘Black Box’ EDRs
Event Data Recorders (EDRs), commonly referred to as ‘Black Boxes’, provide detailed information related to vehicle events – travel speeds, drivers’ brake and accelerator pedal inputs, steering inputs, accelerations, Delta-Vs, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) inputs, and on and on… A majority of vehicles on the road today have some form of event data recording on board that can capture relevant information that can be used to reconstruct traffic crashes. A skilled and experienced expert is required to determine if a particular vehicle has the ability to record event data, and if so, utilize the proper methods to recover such data from the vehicle. Our experts have years of experience and have successfully recovered electronic event data from hundreds of vehicles. Our experts have completed advanced training in the imaging and interpretation of both passenger and commercial vehicle electronic event data.
We can provide expertise in the following areas:
EDR data recovery
Heavy Vehicle event data recovery (HVEDR)
Electronic data analysis
ADAS / Vehicle advanced safety systems
Vehicle photo / video / dash camera footage recovery
